Looking for composting bucket to make mulch that is an aerated garbage pail with holes in it and good latches?
I have lookd up composters/mulchers and see prices up to 0. All I want is something large – metal or plastic is fine size of my large indoor kitchen garbage can) that I can put food compost in twice a week or so (from my little container by sink) and then re-secure the latches (so animals couldn’t get in it).
. I would keep it outdoors so it can ’smell’. I would add leaves etc. once in awhilke. This barrel should be strong enough so that every so often I could just just kick it around and roll it to mix up the compost. And it should be so cheap that I can order 3, and let the old ones age to readiness. Does anyone know of a product like that? I can’t find on the internet.

I’ve used what was just suggested and the lids locked down. I added some dirt and a sprinkle of water. In place of turning twice a week I would dump the full one into an empty one.
go to the hardware store or home depot or lowes and buy some metal garbage cans. drill some holes in them and be done with it. it works. make sure the metal lids fit tight.
